There’s been a flurry of activity in the gaming mouse world with literally everyone rolling out a lightweight model in recent days. Roccat is the latest to enter the fray with the Burst. It’s an ambi design with a 68g weight and proprietary optical ‘titan’ switches. There are two versions of the mouse, the Core which is a cheaper entry level mouse that comes with a traditional rubber cable and a pixart 3359 and a pro version with a paracord and a pixart 3389 sensor which features a special translucent shell and heat treated skates.
The ambi shape looks comfortable and this offers up yet another option for those in the market for a sub 70gram mouse this year. If you’re feeling antsy and don’t want to wait for the release for the Burst, check out the other Roccat mice like the Aimo which are available now.
